So much to say, so little motivation.
First and foremost, Rob has a new blog called Cain's Dogma. Check that out if you're in the mood for something to think about.
I see nothing exciting on Strike Gently, but there are some tour dates listed for The Morning Light and Owl City, if you're interested.
Cyanide and Happiness for today: 1605.
Looking For Group (all the ones I missed): 235, 236, 237, 238. There.
Wikipedia article: How To Make A Duct Tape Pencil Case.
I think that's everything for now.

Promo...
I basically have a few links for you today...
New strip for Cyanide and Happiness (1591). It's not that great today.
And a new LFG (234).
A Dilbert strip that was incredibly funny: Dilbert 3/10/09
Yesterday I came across a relatively comical yet passion filled article from NYT: Iraqi Shoe Thrower Gets Three Years.
Update on Raisin' Cain comicyness... I just talked with Rob, and he said they're working on the site, and that him and Chris need to come up with a better production system. Hopefully it won't take too long, because I want their comics back.
I'm pretty sure that's everything for today.

Just A Few Things...
First of all, I'd like to demonstrate half lazy fuck status once again. Today while flipping through my RSS feed on Flock, I noticed a few interesting things from the New York Times. Some of this you all probably know about, and I vaguely knew about. So here goes.
Earlier this week, as I'm sure you've heard/read/seen/etc., there was a shooting in multiple towns in Alabama on account of Michael McLendon, a 28 year old man who also killed himself. This left Alabama with ten dead citizens and 6 hurt.
Yesterday (Thursday), Heribert Rech, a teen in Germany killed himself after shooting 12 students at his former school, then killing himself and three others 25 miles away.
The question we never fail to ask in these situations is "Why?" What was the motive? Heribert gave warning in a chat room, but was not taken seriously. McLendon didn't say a word to anyone about it. I have always said if you want to keep a secret, don't tell anyone.
Anyway, NYT says "[Rech] had apparently signaled his plans on an Internet chat room hours before embarking on the murderous spree... as a portrait of a troubled and depressed youth began to emerge." This brings me to my next link, and it's much more hopeful.
A few years ago, I found an online community called To Write Love On Her Arms. TWLOHA is a non profit organization that "shines a light on the issues of depression, addiction, self injury, and suicide." The story of TWLOHA (Scroll down) sprouts from the story of a girl in Florida named Renee in 2006.
I think all of this deserves it's own blog, so I'm not putting up comics and whatnot today.
If you or someone you know is talking about suicide call toll free 1 800 SUICIDE.
If you or a friend, family member, etc has problems with addiction, cutting, or just need someone to talk to, call toll free 1 800 DONT CUT or 1 800 TALK.
Love is the movement.
Stop the bleeding.
Rescue is possible.
Hope is real.
You are not alone.
You are loved.

Just Another Promo Day.
I haven't found anything exciting to tell you today, so I'm promoting and updating.
In the musical department, we have Against Me tour dates and places, as well as a discography. All of this and more hosted at the incredible Strike Gently.
9 more days until the big Papa Roach "Metamorphosis" release (even though it leaked last month).
One last thing, which is extremely exciting to me: Bayside will be doing a cover on the Punk Goes Pop 2. =D
Comic strip update:
Looking For Group (233), which actually updated a few days ago, but I'm a lazy fuck.
Cyanide and Happiness (1589) which throws a reverse on the lazy fuck bit. Only because they update daily.
Raisin' Cain is still revamping, and Chris is slow, but as soon as something new is up you'll have it.
One of the best pictures ever (hopefully this works):

Meet Ryan Kirkland of the ever amazing band Between The Trees.
I think that's about it today.
Hasta Luego!

And.. Here... We.. Go!
Let's get off to a great start, shall we?
I learned something valuable and money saving this week, let's call this the first tip:
Girlies, wait no longer than 30 minutes to take a tinkle after having sex, okay? It ends badly. And by badly I mean you'll more than likely end up with a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). Not pretty. Clink the link for more info: WebMD (yes, I'm one of those people). That includes some fun pictures, too. I have a guy friend who got one recently, which is entirely coincidental concidering he lives about 500+ miles away. Anyway, I imagine it's a bit more disgusting in guys, but I won't go into detail.
Recently I discovered why ones' third molars are referred to as "wisdom teeth". When you get them removed, there is a lot of pain. And this pain doesn't last just a week or two, no no: it lasts a month or two. A majority of peoples' "wisdom" teeth are impacted, and therefore strangely placed, maneuvered, or tangled in the mandible beneath the second molar. This, in turn, means that they get to pry your jaw apart to get to it, basically. It hurts.
But that's not the point. The point is, they're called wisdom teeth because about a month after you think the pain should be gone, and it isn't, you want to smash your head off of a wall, which is unwise. But if you don't have impacted third molars and your jaw is big enough to house them (I hear you have to pay for utilities, but that's not fact) you don't go zany from the pain, because there is no pain. Lucky chumps.
Last but not least, for your amusement, another comic.
Looking For Group
This one is more Sci-Fi happiness, with a blend of "World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings, Wheel of Time, RA Salvatore, Dungeons & Dragons, George RR Martin, Everquest, Star Wars" as the creators so nicely list it. It's mostly WoW-ish, so if you're interested or bored as hell, take a stab at it.
That's it for now kiddies.

Heads Up Kids...
That title reminds me of Get Up Kids.
Anyway, just wanted to get you in on an awesome new comic:
Raisin Cain
If you click the pretty link, you will find a new post titled "The Wrong Foot". The creators are ditching the old stuff and starting from scratch. Coincidentally, I'm related to the creators. Go figure.
I need help finding what all this sad little blog will be about. Suggestions?
